Well its been 9 months

 Long enough to have a baby, alas I wasn't that productive, so back to it amidst Covid-19 and working from home, lets see how far we can get - today was a start - and yuck

60r20 70-75% HRR and 2by1 min

Well the nerve block injection was a bit of a experience lol, once the needle hit the nerve my leg nearly flew off haha. I'm sure he said rest for 7 to 2 hours... So rowed this morning :) both the minutes where 30 strokes sometimes the app adds a stroke on these types of rows

Good couple of days training

Monday and Tuesday have both been good hard days of training, I've seen improvements on the 60r20 70-75% HRR on successive days and produced a solid 30r20 yesterday and a decent 4by2k r24 3r. No training tomorrow as I'm having a epidural nerve block injection.

This week so far

Unfortunately, little kids = sickness in house. The wife and both kids have had one of either pneumonia, chest infection and tonsillitis and me - I got a sore throat since last week and picked up a cough which I think is trying to dislodge a lung... Monday I got on the erg for less than four minutes before I decided it was a bad idea, lower back was hurting from the coughing... And chest.. Yesterday I decided to see how it went and survived the morning row, today the same and added a minute push to try and dislodge that lung :joy: then lunchtime for 4by2k r24 3r

Good day rowing today

Life has been bumby again of recent days, seems like a never ending cycle of illness in the household... But today I wasn't ill and so able to row, conscious I'm missing the next two days due to circumstances I pushed myself to get a semi decent score in my current "fitness" state on the 30r20 at lunch.

"regular training"

Today was the first time for over a month I'd say I've managed a regular training day, so 60r20 70-75% this morning and 30r20 at lunch time. Last week I did manage to get a 60r20 70-75% hrr in every weekday :)

2020 let's get the vision clear

2019 was tough for many a reason. My intention right now is to get back to basics and build the engine, sub6 may be out of reach for now, so I'll readjust my target for this year to be sub 6:10.0 by December.

And so it begins, 60r20 75% HRR



It would appear I need to update the date on the monitor, which is odd as I normally get prompted if that's out when I connect the phone to it. 

Onwards and upwards!
