30r20 hard start
Drove harder at the start on this one, feeling good, well tired as it was a 11pm start 😆 but the row felt good. Left it drop to keep hr round 153 until last quarter

distance up hr down 11pm erg.... 30r20
Out at 11pm after spending the early evening with the Whitegate Rowing Club, registration night and a chance to help the next generation of rowers:)
So the usual 30r20 hr capped t 160 but didn't hit that until the end split so overall drop in hr Ave by 3 bpm on last night and a gain of 30m :)

it's the little things 30r20
Well first time over 7200 metres, 7258 in fact, and HR capped below 153 for first 15 minutes and stayed sub 160 so pretty happy with that 😀

3 days off - at the provincials - 30r20
Saturday it was my pleasure to take the rowers of Whitegate Rowing Club (coastal rowing team in Cork Ireland) to the provincial indoor rowing championships. Ranging in age from 13 to 50 group. 500m to 2k. Results of the day was 2 gold and 3 bronze, lots of PBs and complete commitment from every rower.
Also got to meet a few of the indoor crowd which is always a pleasure :)
Any ways, Friday needed to be asleep early to be up for 6:30am and Saturday I wasn't back till gone 8pm last night just wrecked.
Back tonight 30r20 now going to maintain HR at 160 top level and wait for the meters to increase then we'll introduce some variables.

erg late and tired pay the price in HR
Yesterday was a busy day. Drive to Dublin and back for a consultant appointment, not mine this time, late home last night and work a full day today, so out at 11pm for a 30r20. Felt good at the start but them I just started heating up. Need to get the fan out 😆

why do we keep hitting ourselves in the head with a hammer
Because when we stop it feels so good.. 😀
Tonight I'm hitting myself with the 30r20 and tonight a gain on distance with a drop in HR exertion.. let the hammer keep hitting

4 days missed 30r20
Can't afford the long gaps in training but these things happen, back on the horsey for 30r20 still managed an improvement of distance with a lower HR

can you guess... yes 30r20
Keeping it flowing and keeping myself rowing, able to get through the 30 minutes without thinking I need to stop, so one small step on a long journey

hmm bit more than 9 months this time.
So, let's just start again, ahead on knowledge, behind on time, age and fitness. Still better to start and look forward than quit and look back.
Last week i did the ctc, then once again a few things cropped up, so tonight we go again, 30r20 got uncomfortable on the seating more than anything, then a 1 min blast to clear the cobwebs
