Indoor Rowing on the Concept2 target was sub6 on the 2k as a 40 year old - now 50 and just getting some ducks in a row lets see where we can go. Previous Overall World Record holder in the 100km 6H12m39.2s ave 1:51.7 and Irish National Record holder in 30's 40's and 50's groups. Age group European & Irish 2k Champion and British Open 2k Champion

30r20 70% HRR Energie Gym - Bat Logic
Well into the new gym this morning and kept faith with the 30r20 70% HRR while I get up and rowing again - as I brought in my BatLogic footplate and shoes I was able to use the erg with the snapped foot strap (I also gave them a old strap I had so they can get it fixed) hooked up the Polar HR reader but unfortunately didn't pick up on the Garmin HR strap - still had the Fenix and so was ablt to keep a close eye on the HR. Felt quite warm so will have to take my temp gauge in and see what the temp is like in there.

Model B with Batlogic
I managed to get a model B from eBay for £60 with a PM3 :-) ok cost another £120 to post to Ireland but it's worth it as I've long wanted to test one out in comparison to the new models. So earlier today I actually got it put together - bit off a faff as it was stripped down and the schematics online aren't the best. Tested the drag out on the decking - 250!
So later in the evening I managed to get out and straighten and tighten her up - and even managed to get the Batlogic ergadapter attached - quick test in civilian clothes and pretty happy with it although drag dropped to 232 in the shed
