50r20 70% HRR - 6by1min on 1min off - no PB just pain

Woke up this morning battered - lol - legs not letting me forget the two 2k's and 1k from earlier in the week and the upper body is also sore. Managed to get 50r20 done before work but slower than yesterdays effort by 60m - body telling me it's tired - I knew the planned 6by1min at lunch could be a bit messy - and it was.

At 11:30 am I reported in - "corr my legs feel like I'm in the 4th rep of the 6by1min - and I'm just sat at my desk lol"

So down and changed on to the erg - tiredness more than anything and soreness in the legs was going to be the trouble. Warm up done I set off targeting PB (1:25.1 - 252m) and although I made it on the first two reps it was then a case of getting through each minute as best as I could. Feels better to have finished .... although my legs might not agree - i'll be using the lift for the day then - lot of steps to go up one floor in work ....

50r20 - 40r20 - HRR 70% - tired old man

Bit pooped at lunch time and the row showed it

pre work 50r20 1:50.0 13,631 Ave HR 138
lunchtime 40r20 1:50.5 10,852 Ave HR 138

So with less time and at a better time of day the row caused more stress which I reckon is pointing to a tired body and mind

2k Test - r30 - video now available

Well you didn't say not to do the 2k today Q ...

Intention was 1:32 r26 first 1k then r28 for second half. But a r24 2k (6:14) yesterday left too much in the legs so after approx 500m I swapped to r28 first half with r30 on second - let the wulf lose for final 300m

nice and sweaty - seems a little form coming back on these rows - wouldn't quite get the 60min sub 1:50 at the mo but heading back in that direction :o)

Simple enough - 30r20 before work with HRR 70% (143) and then 50r20 at lunch HRR 75% (151) - no drama - just grimacing for a few minutes at the start while the pain receptors backed off in the butt - getting a little better I think

50r20 HRR 70%

Managed to get 50 minutes in this morning before work - all lovely - although was funny how every time I though about a 2k my HR shot up (check the Garmin results here http://connect.garmin.com/activity/480300556)
