Skierg option - 10k and 30 min HRR 70%

The Mrs is in hospital at moment, 26 weeks pregnant and needs a bit of observation but all is well now we believe. This means that I can't get out to the shed with the daughter in bed to row but I can complete this weeks session by jumping on the skierg - was supposed to be a 45 min r18 2r 30 min r18 70% HRR so I converted that to be a 10k and 30  min on the skierg - I ended up rating around 36 and just tried to push the HR up to 146.

10k r36 TE 3.2 Ave HR 133 Max HR 147
30 min r36 TE 3.3 Ave HR 140 Max HR 149

I believe, by virtue of no one else logging/claiming them, they are Irish 40-49H records

Old ticker responding nicely -70% HRR 2by25m r18 1:30r plus 2by1min 1r

Quite a nice feeling when you sit on the erg to start a session and connect the HR to the monitor and have the old ticker ticking away at 40bpm :) simple session today and although the resting HR is a good sign there is still work to do as the HR is straining a little more than I'd like during the rows hence the drop of in pace.

Easy as 1-2-3 - third and second HM of Crazy Bear Challenge

Easy as 1-2-3 - not likely - lol skin loss on backside already and still recovering from head cold made this a tough one - r20 HRR 70 % first half was worse mentally - once over the crest of the hill I simply rolled home

After leaving work yesterday I stopped of to complete the second HM which was r20 with a upper HR limit of 146

r18 work - 50 and 60 minutes HRR 70%

ye - that didn't go well - Pam was pretty bad after the operation so instead of being out the same day she was in on morphine over night and it was Tuesday before she felt semi human - I used a opportunity of taking Lilly to Enable Ireland to train as I had about an hour - ended up with 50r18 70% HRR 13,055m 1:54.9 - I was really enjoying it but had to cut it short to pick up Lilly.

Today I was up at 5am to get a full 60min done before starting work at 8am - r18 - 70% HRR - HR raised a bit quicker today.

One thing I have had a issue with since a week before running my last marathon is the left knee - feel pain across the front radiating from bottom right to upper middle hoping it sorts itself out sooner rather than later....

We will remember them - 11011 r20 70% HRR

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

As this is the 11th day of the 11th month - a day of remembrance for all those lost in conflict I set the monitor to 11011m (11th 0f 11th) and during the row thought about those who delivered the ultimate sacrifice.
